Asthma Spacer

(Attachment for MDI medication)

The Asthma Spacer is an attachment for Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs) that acts as a chamber to hold your medicine in place. This allows you to breathe it in more easily and delivers it straight to where it’s needed in your lungs.

How well it works

How to use the Asthma Spacer

  1. Prepare the MDI

Remove the mouthpiece cap from your MDI. Shake the MDI vigorously to make sure the medication is mixed, and attach the MDI to the cradle.

  2. Secure the mask

Fit the mask securely to your face, forming a tight seal around the nose and mouth.

  3. Dispense medication

With the chamber held horizontally, press down firmly on the MDI once. Breathe in and out normally for 3-4 breaths, then remove the chamber from your mouth and continue to exhale.
