FAQS
Your questions answered
Sleep Supplement is a natural sleep aid that contains ingredients specifically chosen by a CNHC-registered nutritionist to help support healthy sleep. Here’s how it works.
Relaxation
Falling asleep is much easier when you’re relaxed, which is why Sleep Supplement contains chamomile and California poppy to support optimal relaxation.
Melatonin
Melatonin is known as “the sleep hormone” because it interacts with receptors in your body to encourage sleep. As melatonin plays such an important role in sleep, Sleep Supplement contains Montmorency cherry (which is a natural source of melatonin).
Energy
One of the reasons why good sleep is so important is because it gives you the energy to get the most out of each day. Sleep Supplement contains magnesium because it contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, allowing you to take every day on with a spring in your step.
We recommend taking two capsules every evening with food, as this allows the ingredients in Sleep Supplement to work while you sleep.
As with any supplement, it’s best to consult your doctor or another relevant health professional before taking Sleep Supplement to ensure it’s safe for you to take.
Sleep Supplement has no known side effects when taken as directed. Don’t exceed the recommended capsule dosage. If you take more tablets than you should, seek immediate medical advice. Additionally, if you are on prescription medication, please consult your healthcare provider before use.
For starters, getting the recommended 7-9 hours of sleep each night helps. Staying on top of your sleep hygiene is also very important. Here are some effective sleep hygiene habits to cultivate if you need help sleeping:
Avoid looking at your phone or computer screen at least 60 minutes before you go to bed.
Set a regular time to go to sleep and get up every day.
Prepare the body for sleep by doing things that help you unwind, like taking a hot bath or shower before bed or stretching.
Avoid excessive alcohol or caffeine consumption, as this can disturb the sleep cycle.
Keep a sleep diary. Use it to track how well you sleep every day to see if any habits or lifestyle changes affect your sleep.
Keep your bedroom dark and at a moderate room temperature of 18 to 24 degrees while you sleep.
If you feel that a lack of sleep is affecting your quality of life daily and none of the things we’ve suggested help, you should speak to your doctor or a relevant health professional for further advice on what to do next.
Warning: Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you are planning to become pregnant, have a medical condition or are taking any medications, please consult with your doctor before use. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if adverse reactions occur. For adult use only. Keep out of reach of young children. Do not use if seal under cap is broken or missing. Contains 3mg of caffeine per serving. Not recommended for children or pregnant or lactating women. Do not consume more than 800mg of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) per day. Should not be consumed if you are consuming other products containing green tea on the same day. Should not be consumed on an empty stomach.
If you‘ve taken a sleep aid (or tried multiple sleeping aids) on several occasions and it hasn’t improved your sleep, then you should consult your doctor as there may be an underlying cause for your inability to sleep.
Melatonin is a hormone that plays an important role in the body’s natural wake-sleep cycle. It’s produced by the pineal gland (a small gland in the brain) when it gets dark and signals to the body that it’s time for sleep.
Melatonin is sometimes included in sleep remedies. While some sleep remedies contain synthetic (lab-made) melatonin, Sleep Supplement is a natural sleep aid that contains Montmorency cherry - a source of natural melatonin.
Sleep Supplement doesn’t contain any ingredients known to cause addiction. It only contains natural ingredients and extracts to promote a better night’s sleep.
On the other hand, taking prescription sleep aids (i.e. sleep medication) can sometimes result in addiction. For this reason, some people prefer to choose natural sleep aids like Sleep Supplement rather than take prescription medication.
No, you don’t need a prescription for Sleep Supplement. Natural sleep remedies like Sleep Deep tend to only contain natural ingredients so they are classified as food rather than medicines. This means they can be taken without needing to get a prescription from a doctor.
