It’s important to use the medications included in the Kit properly for the best hair regrowth results. Each hair loss treatment needs to be used in a specific way, so it’s key that you know how to use each one before you begin your hair regrowth journey.

Your clinician will give you the best plan to follow, and it’s always important to follow the instructions on the Patient Information Leaflet.

To get the most out of the Hair Kit, it’s recommended that you use the treatments included in the Kit on a daily basis. Daily use of the Hair Kit will allow you to maintain the hair you regrow during treatment. It will also help you to maintain scalp coverage for as long as you use the Kit.

If you decide to stop using the Kit, it’s likely that you’ll lose the hair you regrew during treatment within three to four months. Therefore, continuous use is recommended for the best results.

Always read the Safety Information Page and/or Patient Information Leaflet included with your Kit to make sure you use it safely and effectively.

Hair growth is a gradual process, so it can take two to four months to notice a reduction in hair loss and/or the regrowth of hair when using the Hair Kit. However, different people respond to hair growth medication in different ways, so this timeframe may be shorter or longer depending on the individual. In any case, you’re most likely to see the best results after six months of continuous use.

Like most medications, the Hair Kit isn’t suitable for everyone and a clinician will have to assess your circumstances to select the hair loss treatment that’s safest and most effective for you.

You should not use the Hair Kit if you:

• Are allergic to minoxidil.

• Are allergic to finasteride

• Have high blood pressure.

• Have scalp conditions (e.g. psoriasis) or sunburn.

• Are younger than 18 or older than 65.

• Taking certain medications (e.g. corticosteroids, tretinoin, dithranol, petrolatum, or guanethidine).

• Whilst you are trying for a baby.

• If you are already taking a 5α-reductase inhibitor (e.g. dutasteride) for an enlargement of the prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia [BPH]) or any other condition.

• If you are biologically female (as defined on your birth certificate). This is because finasteride is ineffective in women.

Hair Growth Supplement should be suitable for almost everyone.

Additionally, always read the Patient Information Leaflet before taking medicine for the first time to ensure it’s safe for you and does not interact with any medication you’re taking.

If you’re experiencing the symptoms of male pattern hair loss (e.g. thinning hair, a balding crown, a receding hairline) then the Hair Kit may be an effective hair loss treatment for you but no medicine for hair loss is guaranteed to work for everybody who uses it.

It should also be noted that no medicine for hair loss is a permanent cure for baldness. Firstly, this is because the chances of experiencing hair loss naturally increase with age. Secondly, the beneficial effects of hair loss medication last for as long as you use it. If you stop using the hair loss treatments provided in the Hair Kit, it’s likely that any hair you regrow during treatment will be lost within three to four months.

If you’re completely bald and have been for a long time, it’s unlikely that the Hair Kit will be an effective hair loss treatment for you.

Possible side effects include:

• Itching and/or skin irritation of the scalp at the site of application.

Rarer side effects include:

• Dizziness.

• Fast or irregular heartbeat.

• Blurred vision or other changes in vision.

• Decreased libido.

• Ejaculatory problems (e.g. decreased volume of ejaculation).

• Erectile dysfunction.

• Depression.

There shouldn’t be any side effects when using the Hair Growth Supplement.

When using any hair loss treatment, it’s important to acknowledge that hair regrowth is a naturally slow process and it takes time to see results. So it’s important to stick with the Hair Kit for at least a few months to encourage noticeable hair regrowth.

As hair regrowth is a gradual process, there’s likely to be little change for the first month or two when you start using the Hair Kit. Some people may experience hair shedding in these initial months, but this is normal and temporary.

After two to four months, hair loss should start to slow down and newly regrown hair should begin to emerge. Initial hairs may be soft and light at the start, but should eventually become the same as normal hair.

Beyond four months, hair loss should slow significantly and thicker, denser-looking hairs should begin to fill in patches of thinning hair. Scalp coverage should noticeably improve and hairs should look stronger and healthier.

If you choose to stop using the Hair Kit, it’s likely that you’ll lose any hair you regrew during treatment within three to four months. Therefore, it’s recommended that you use the Kit continuously to maintain any hair you regrow and encourage further hair regrowth.

Don’t worry if you forget to use the treatments in the Hair Kit one day. Forgetting to use them for one or a few days shouldn’t have a significant impact on your scalp coverage or hair regrowth, as it usually takes around three to four months for regrown hair to disappear when treatment is stopped. However, we recommend using the Hair Kit consistently for the best results.

If you forget to use the treatments in the Kit, don’t double the dose to make up for the ones you missed. Instead, resume treatment as normal the following day.
