Helen, 36
"I've done the reprogramming bit. Now I get to live my life having had that help. I feel better in myself - I'm not scared to look in the mirror."

We checked in with three Numan patients to document their life after treatment. Discover their stories, the routines they've kept, and how they’ve managed their progress one year or more later.
For many, relying on medication alone only leads to temporary progress. This is because medication on its own doesn't address the lifestyle habits that impact your weight.
Numan is designed with a different approach. We believe that meaningful progress involves adjusting the daily behaviours and habits that shape how you eat and live. Our programme uses medication to help create the right conditions for those adjustments, while coaching and nutritional guidance are there to support you in maintaining your new habits over time.

Sarah, 33
"I feel like I'm bouncing up the hill on the school run, whereas before I'd wonder why I was doing this. The whole household eats differently now."

Craig, 52
"I go out camping now. I do all sorts. I've got shirts I hadn't worn for 20 years and I get to wear them at gigs again."
Helen's words, a year after finishing the programme.
Long-term change isn't linear. There are weeks where everything clicks, and weeks where nothing seems to move. Both are part of it.
The Numan programme is built for the whole journey, not just the start. Coaching that's most valuable when momentum dips. A community of people on the same path. Providing the guidance and tools to help you prepare for life after treatment.
You don't need to be perfect. You need to build something strong enough to carry you through the imperfect days.
The best way to understand what's possible with Numan's programme? Hear it from the people who've lived it.
Helen used to approach weight loss the same way most people do. Eat things she hated, hope the willpower holds. It never did, because it never does.
What changed with Numan wasn't the number on the scale. It was the reason she reaches for food. The coaching helped her understand food noise for the first time, find meals she actually enjoys, and stop treating eating as something to feel bad about.
After two pregnancies and a return to full-time work, Sarah wasn't looking for a dramatic transformation. She wanted her energy back. To feel like herself again. To stop feeling like the school run was defeating her.
Her programme was built around her life. Coaching tailored to what was achievable alongside a newborn, a toddler, and a full-time job. When the medication stopped, she noticed the habits she'd built were holding everything in place.
A year on, the whole household has adopted a different approach to mealtimes. She bounces up the hill on the school run, and she’s happy knowing she’s setting a positive example for her family.
Craig used to eat out of guilt, not hunger. Feel low, eat, feel worse, then do it all again. He knew it wasn't about willpower. He just didn't know what else to try.
The Numan programme gave him something he hadn't found before: structure, coaching, nutrition, the app. All working together, not in isolation.
He goes camping now. Preps his meals. Wears shirts he hadn't fit into for 20 years. That's not the programme talking anymore. That's just Craig.
Clinician-reviewed medication
GLP-1 medication prescribed where clinically appropriate, reviewed and adjusted throughout your programme by our medical team.
Nutrition and behaviour support
Practical guidance on building eating habits that work for your life. Not restriction. Not foods you hate. A sustainable way of eating you can maintain long after the programme ends.
A supported stop
When you're ready to finish, your coach works with you to make sure you're in the right place to stop — not just set out into the world. The programme ends. The support doesn't disappear overnight.
Maintaining a healthy weight is rarely about a single moment of change. It involves a continuous process of navigating daily decisions and adjusting to how your body responds over time.
From the start, the goal of the Numan programme is to provide the resources needed to support weight management. Our clinical and coaching support is designed to evolve with you, offering guidance as you adjust your routines, learn more about your body, and as your needs or approach change over time.
It’s natural for old habits to feel more prominent when your circumstances or treatment path change. Our framework is designed to provide a supportive structure during these transitions, so you have access to professional guidance rather than relying on willpower alone.
The programme aims to help you feel more equipped to manage your health journey. By focusing on behavioral foundations alongside clinical intervention, we work with you to build a varied toolkit of lifestyle strategies that support your progress over time.
