Q: How long do blood test results take?

You should receive your blood test results three to five working days after you post your blood samples.You’ll get an email notifying you that your results have arrived in your Numan account, so keep an eye on your inbox so you don’t miss them. Additionally, you’ll receive a written review of your results from one of our clinicians, which you can read alongside your results to help you understand them.Once they’re in your account, you can view your results any time you wish. You can also view them in-app and save your results as a PDF to help you keep track of them (and show them to your GP if need be).

Q: Can I really use this kit without professional supervision?

Yes. It’s designed to be taken at home and we’ve included detailed instructions to help you through the process. We’ll also break down your results into simple, easy-to-understand language, so you’ll learn where you stand and how you can improve your heart health.

Q: How often do I need to take the test?

It’s generally a good idea to take your test every few months, although since every patient is different there’s no set timescale. If you’re unsure, you can ask our clinical team.

Each test is a finger prick test, so you may feel a small scratch when you use the lancet provided with it to take a blood sample. This is only temporary, and any discomfort should subside swiftly afterwards.
