What happens during a One-Off Doctor Consultation?

During your consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to talk to a doctor about the results of a Numan blood test or any of the conditions we treat at Numan*. The doctor can give you one-to-one guidance and recommend specific treatments for your health based on your discussion. The doctor can also advise you on how to get the most out of any medication you’re taking to treat these conditions.

They’re also able to offer lifestyle advice to complement your treatments if necessary. For example, if you want advice about how to treat ED, they might suggest lifestyle changes like exercising regularly or reducing alcohol intake to help reduce your symptoms.

Should the doctor be unable to answer your health queries over the phone, or if you require further medical attention that can only be given in person, they can signpost you to a service where you can get the support you need.

*Please note that the doctor will only be able to give direct advice and support for the conditions we treat at Numan (including ED, premature ejaculation, and hair loss, etc).

Want to know how to get the most benefit from it.

Think that your current medication is not working as well as it should.

Are taking other medications alongside it and want to know how to use them together safely.

Would like to change medicine but want a doctor’s advice first.

Naturally, conversation may turn to general health at times and we encourage you to be as open as possible with the doctor so they can help you to the best of their ability. But please acknowledge that the doctor will only be able to offer specific advice about the conditions we treat at Numan. The doctor will not be able to write you a prescription for any medication.

The doctor will do everything they can to give you the most helpful and effective advice possible.

Yes. If you have taken a blood test with us you can use your One-Off Doctor Consultations to discuss your results and plan your next steps with a doctor. The doctor can give you in-depth feedback on your results and, if necessary, recommend appropriate treatments based on the results of your test. The doctor will not be able to write you a prescription for any medication.

If you need further medical assistance beyond the scope of what the doctor can offer over the phone, they can signpost you to a specialist who can give you the help you need*. This will help you get the exact support you require so that you can continue to receive effective healthcare.

Will I always speak to the same doctor each consultation?

One-Off Doctor Consultations give you access to a full team of qualified doctors who are able to assist you with your health. This means that sometimes you will speak to a different doctor during your consultation.

Your private information and the things you talk about with each doctor will always be kept confidential. Only the doctors will have access to your private information, and will only use it to provide healthcare that is tailored to your needs.
